We stayed in Cedar City. Our day will include visits to Cedar Breaks and the Dixie National Forest. We travelled north to Parowan, then up into the mountains. This is outside Parowan

We are a tad late for the fall color season.
But there is some color left

Ramparts Trail begins at the Visitors Center and runs to the south along the rim to Spectra Point and Ramparts Overlook.

We only took a short part of it. The trail is dry, dusty and slippery. And it was VERY windy.
