Our first view of Bergen, from an airport window. We heard this was placed there by some environmental artist, like Christo. Pretty creative, eh?
We board the VIking Sea tomorrow, so spent one night at the Scandic Torget Hotel on the Vågen Harbour. Across the harbor, and out our room windows, were the famous Hanseatic Buildings of Bryggen (Old Bergen)
A walk up the hill...
...to the Floibanen, a furnicular to a beautiful hilltop view of all Bergen. We will do ths tomorrow
